My day in Bangkok started off at the scene of the protests the day before. I met Jaimie, an Ohioan living in Tokyo that sat behind me on the plane to Bangkok. This was the only sign of the protests that I could photograph. We saw military going and ambulances coming, and the street we celebrated Song Kran on was blocked off at one point because the protests got close, but that was it. The upside was, there wasn’t any crazy traffic so my cab rides to the airport were super fast.
