Dunk Comedy

Of all the mountains I’ve gone to, these, the Grand Tetons, may be my favorite. I drove by them yesterday on my way to Southern California and only stopped for a few hours. They are the most dramatic mountains I’ve seen so far - grey crags along a lake surrounded by low foothills and wide valleys. My sister used to live on the other side of them from here in a great mountain town, Driggs, with a view of the Grand Teton from her hut. I was jealous.

Plus, the French Trappers that discovered them gave them a pretty great name.
