Ben's Magic Cards
At the end of each day this month we sat down, ordered dinner, then Ben would look at us with a big grin and ask “cards?” It was his favorite past time. New Yorker?
When I close my eyes, I see Flatbush and 7th, 21st between 7th and 8th, Bryant Park, Houston and Broadway, Avenue C and 4th, Prospect Park, 17th and 7th, among many other street scenes. Yet, when I’m in New York, I can never plug into the energy, it tires me and I find nooks to escape away to.
